Founded in 2022

We aren't some massive, anonymous record label; we are a genuine family project. Behind this name are exactly two people: my dad, Perofe, and me, DaRod.

We brought the label to life in 2022 because we share a massive passion for electronic music. With us, two completely different worlds collide and ultimately complement each other perfectly. We love modern, driving sounds, but we refuse to be boxed into rigid categories and are always down for new, unconventional projects.

So, how do things work behind the scenes? It's pretty simple, but extremely effective:

I am the creative mind behind it all. Whether it's the music production itself, designing the cover art, editing the videos, or building this website—everything you see and hear is created by me in the studio.

I lose myself in the sounds and the ideas.

But the best tracks are worthless if nobody hears them. And that's exactly where my dad, Perofe, comes in. He is the absolute backbone of darkblackmusic. As our sponsor and the head of social media and marketing, he completely has my back. He possesses an invaluable instinct for the business and the exact right gut feeling for making decisions when I'm buried too deep in a project.

One creates the music, the other brings it into the world. That is our workflow. No compromises, just pure output.
